About Mercy Charitable Trust
Mercy charitable Trust Started in 2016 with a great vision by Thayamma( founder of the Trust)
Who worked as social worker for 29 years, had a vision to support children & women from backward communities providing education , shelter, self employment and basic facilities.
The main aim is to create a generation of children who are net bound by the circumstances they are born into. In this organisation , the children are provided with education, food, shelter, love, care & guidance, in an effort to help them enjoy a happy life.
It was started by taking care of 3 children providing them basic needs & teaching them, from October 2017. the organisation expanded to shelter 15 children ranging from 3 to 15 years. We currently have a home for both girls and boys consisting 22 children in total – 9 boys and 13 girls.
- Mercy home provided them a protective and safe environment. The children here are of single parent and without parents who are financially destitute.
